Hi, I'm Jacob Maor and I love traveling. I'm a journalist and a speechwriter and lately a blogger too. I was lucky to work in a profession that led me to many trips abroad and in Israel. Actually I had a career which I got paid for traveling. In this blog I am happy to share with you the experiences I have accumulated. I was the economic reporter for Israeli Radio and Ma'ariv newspaper, where I was assigned to cover many events worldwide. I also was the presidential speechwriter and was a member of the "advance team" that organized the visit of our president abroad prior to his arrival
I also worked for the American airline Tower Air, and I flew many times to the United States and to all the airline's destinations. I am also a private pilot, and in many places where I landed, I rented a light plane and took off to fascinating places
I recently retired from the public service, and I enjoying traveling around the world and to write in this online travelers magazine
I love looking for the Jewish aspect wherever I come. The old synagogues, educational institutions, kosher restaurants, the cemeteries with the Hebrew tombstones, etc. In this blog I share with you what I discovered
